Heavy restyling of the front end came in 1970 for the AMX, which was the last of a three-year run for the sporty two-seater from American Motors Corporation.

The grille was now flush with the edge of the hood, which was equipped with a large Ram-Air hood scoop. Optional "Black Shadow" hood and fender top treatment was an available option.
