During this era of American cars the use of chrome was wide spread, and for 1960 the Buick line was completely restyled from the model year prior, and the stylists were able to tastefully apply the use of nickel-chrome plating.
The '60 Buicks were promoted as "a car for for big families with big ideas...a car of boundless energy and stamina" and, all the while, those Jet exhaust styled tail light bezels doubled as a a handy mirror for lipstick touchups!
