The fabulously flamboyant fins of the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado made it the most recognizable, classic '50s car of all time. Named after a Muisca Tribal Chief, the Eldorado was the top-of-the-line Cadillac that model year, a true symbol of success.

By the end of the 1950s, designers had gone to extremes creating head-turning fins. The fins on this  ’59 beauty soared almost to roof height.
