Refined for 1968, the GTO now featured a 350-horsepower 400-cid engine along with an all-new smooth body shell. The long hood design featured twin hood scoops with hidden windshield wipers. The 1968 GTO was the first ever production car to feature an "Endura" front bumper, a color-keyed energy-absorbing design that absorbed light collisions without damage.
