If any car defines the 1950s, it’s the classic, 1957 Chevrolet.  Just the right formula of chrome and fins — a “junior Cadillac” in flash appeal.  Equipped with the optional “Ramjet” fuel injected 283-cid V8, and newly released dealer-installed 4-speed manual gearbox, it was a serious street performer:  One horsepower per cubic inch with burning rubber!  Back in the day, outside mirrors weren’t required, so this Surf Green beauty doesn’t have them.
