'53 Plymouth Cranbrook

This Convertible Had Pizzazz!

Tasteful new styling for Plymouth came in 1953, generating a 40-percent increase in sales over the previous model year. For buyers of the Cranbrook Convertible model, ordering the optional Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels and whitewall tires added a lot of glitz and glamour to the machine.

A power top was standard equipment. Plymouth was the number three sales volume car maker during this time frame and in 1953 the division celebrated its 25th anniversary.
